I love to learn! The advanced training I continually undergo in hair coloring, chemical texturizing, chemical straightening, hair cutting, facial waxing, and cosmetics is one of my favorite parts of being a stylist. Getting to know my clients is even more important to me. Learning what you like, how you feel about certain styles and what's right for you has been as fascinating for me as any classes I can take, and the key to helping you find that perfect look. Nothing beats the feeling I get when all that knowledge comes together and my clients look and feel great!

It's all in the details! As Novel Hair's resident cosmetologist and esthetician, I love being able to create a whole look for my guests through the use of hair coloring and shaping, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, full body waxing, cosmetics, and natural nail care. Working with you gives me the opportunity to explore my passions by helping you find yours, and nothing could be more beautiful than that!

I believe that true beauty comes from within, so who needs stress and worry lurking in their muscles? I have over ten years of experience as a massage therapist working with athletes from a semi-pro football team, local professional golf tournaments, marathons, and the Olympic swim trials. I know how to help people relax! I'd love to use all my experience (as well as my knowledge of swedish, sports, and myofacial release) to heal your pains, ease your mind and take all that stress far, far away. I'm looking forward to helping you feel as great as our stylists will make you look!

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a stylist and help make people beautiful. On some level I always knew the importance of feeling good about yourself, and in seeing the beauty in all people. My knowledge of coloring, cutting techniques, manicures, pedicures and cosmetics has given me the chance to appreciate that beauty even more by enhancing it, and my shampooing and scalp/shoulder massages are simply out of this world!  Make an appointment to find out how I can help you enhance that beauty in yourself!

Showtime! Having a strong background in art and theater, cosmetology was the obvious choice for me. It's like a new performance every day. Novel Hair is our stage, my education and abilities are the script, you are the audience and your look is the performance. No stage fright here - my extensive training in color, haircutting and styling have helped me "know my lines", so to speak, and my continued interest and participation in hair shows and classes keep those butterflies far, far away. Nobody likes a bad hair day! I dislike them so much that I became a stylist to help eliminate those days for you. Having literally grown up in a salon (my mother was a cosmetologist), my interest in this profession started young. Throw in a lifelong love of theatre, dance and art and cosmetology was the perfect choice. After training in L.A., I moved back to Omaha and right into my spot at Novel Hair! I can't wait to bring a little sunshine to your day whether it's a cut, color, formal style, waxing, pedicure, manicure or just a style. I can guarantee your smile upon leaving my chair!

Here comes the son! I grew up watching my mom (Tamra) enjoy her work and excel at it. Having had that kind of inspiration and example, as well as my own interest, made it really easy to know what I wanted to do. My exceptional skills, superior intellect, friendly personality and dashing good looks are what make me excel at it also. Hey, I couldn't let her steal all my spotlight! In all seriousness, I wake up every morning knowing that I get to help people feel great and look beautiful. I am grateful for that. I love what I do - come see me and you'll love what I do too!
